Missions Trip to AMG Guatemala

Family and friends,
July 18-25, Colin and I will join a team of 16 others from our church, Harvest Bible Chapel N. Phoenix, for a missions trip to Guatemala. We will serve with AMG to run a children's camp for one week. Guatemala is a beautiful place, with rich history and culture. It’s also a country that has been gripped by many challenges politically and financially.
Our desire is to partner well with AMG during this camp. We will lead worship, play sports, help with activities, serve meals and do whatever we are asked to do by the camp directors. This will be Colin's first mission trip and we are so excited to see him grow in his faith and excitement to serve others.
Our goal in writing this letter is to let you know we are going to Guatemala to do these two things: 1. Tell others about Jesus (Matt 28:18-20) 2. Love the Lord and others (Matt 22:37) Would you please pray for us as we prepare to serve in Guatemala? Pray for us as we partner in ministry with AMG. Consider the opportunity of giving toward our trip also. Colin has mentioned the amount needed to make this trip together is $3,000.
