Chris Calderon Motorcycle Hit & Run - Medical

Donation protected
My husband Chris Calderon was involved in an really bad hit and run motorcycle accident on 8/27/19 leaving work at 5:25 pm. The accident happened at the intersection of Easthaven and Carsondale right by Monroe Metro Park and Ride off 45 South before getting to the Monroe light. A woman driving a silver, 2008 Chevy Silverado LT1, 2 door extended cab with the license plate # MHM-7598 went into the wrong lane so she can bypass the long line of traffic and slammed head on into Chris! She dragged his Harley 12 feet, he flew 4 feet landing on the pavement! The worst part is she stopped, opened her door looked at Chris laid out on the ground, then reversed so she could get the bike from under her truck and sped off! We know the driver was a white/Hispanic female, age mid 40s, dark hair, with prescription glasses. Chris was rushed to the ER where we learned he had to be transferred to Hermann Memorial in Downtown due to his injuries being so severe. He's suffering from bulging discs in his upper back that are putting pressure on his spine, a fractured pelvis and his left thumb is broken in 5 places. He will need multiple surgeries in the near future which we are solely responsible for, due to us not having uninsured motorists bodily injury/property damage only full coverage. We are asking for your help with any donations for all of his current and future medical bills. Please keep him in your prayers! Also, if you know of any information or have any footage of the accident please message me directly and report any sights of the truck and woman to the police so they can catch her. His incident case # is 111319519-Y. We thank you for any help you can provide, prayers and help us raise awareness for motorists to look twice for bikes!
