Chris and Rebeca's Medical Fund

Chris and his wife, Rebeca, are missionaries in Mexico.  Together they have been training the next generation of leaders for nearly 20 years.

Chris was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis over 10 years ago, which has attacked every joint in his body.  Recently, this autoimmune disease started attacking his kidneys as well, dropping their effectiveness to only 10%, landing him in the hospital.  He tires easily, is anemic and retains lots of liquids.

He’s undergoing expensive treatment to keep his kidneys working to keep him stable.  It’s a slow, months-long process.  Many times, Chris and Rebeca have had to cancel ministry commitments in churches or in homes to take care of Chris’ condition.

The kidney specialist that Chris is seeing has said that his situation can become life-threatening very suddenly should treatment be halted every temporarily.  We need your help to avoid this.

What we’re asking for is what we estimate for the next 6 weeks, including doctor visits, medical exams and medicines, based on our expenses so far.
