Chris and Family need our help

Chris is in the hospital now, and he's been there since Wednesday.  He was flown by paramedics to Fairbanks on Wednesday, and he has been unconscious and unresponsive since then.  We are very fortunate that the volunteer fire department members were available to help Chris and get him to the clinic and on to Fairbanks.  His family is there with him now, and may need to stay for an extended time, looking after him.  We're searching for ways to make their stay more economical;  tourist season in Alaska is insanely expensive.  Unfortunately, hotels, cab rides, food, and airfare can accumulate into thousands of dollars, quickly.   Fortunately,  Chris' family was able to come visit him  just a month or so ago, but now they are here under more dire circumstances.  If anyone can help in any way, we'd really appreciate it.  Chris would probably hate me asking for help.  He's a good dude with a big heart, but  Chris would say his heart is fucked up right now.  He'd also lovingly call me a motherfucker, or anyone else who helped him.  I'm sure, if you know Chris, you can think of a time that he helped you fix your car, pull you out of a rut, help build something, or season your life with colorful language.  He's a man that puts others first, and he needs our help.  What other person do you know that can cuss the world and says toodles as a goodbye.  We love Chris and can't wait to kick back and spend time with our friend again.  Yall please keep Chris in your thoughts and prayers, and help however you can.  Thanks. 

I haven't put too many specifics in here for Chris' privacy, but he is not doing well.  We're pulling for him and for his family.  Anything helps, honestly:  If you have a friend or family in town with a place to stay.  If you know of a way to get a discounted car rental....  Anything would help, thanks.
