Chris Alvarado (Good Samaritan)

On November 15th, Chris Alvarado was involved in a serious accident in Genoa Twp. Acting as a ‘Good Samaritan’, Chris was pushing a disabled vehicle out of the roadway when he was hit directly by an SUV. He is currently in critical condition at the University of Michigan hospital, and has lost both of his legs as a result of the crash. Chris has a long road to recovery, with the full implications of the accident not yet known.
Chris has 5 children, plus another on the way and the full financial impact of this accident is going to be enormous. As a small business owner, his family is going to need some help in the near and probably distant future. Funds raised will go to support Chris’s with any current and future costs relating to his care and his family’s expenses.
Since we unsure of the full financial impact at this time, the ‘goal’ for this fundraiser may be reevaluated at a later date.
