<div>In January 2025, I was diagnosed with <strong>Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA)</strong>, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. It affects only a small number of people (<strong>1 or 2 people in every 100,000 cancer diagnosis</strong>), However, its impact is life-changing and cases are on the rise.

<div>Since this unexpected diagnosis, my journey has brought physical, emotional, and mental challenges - not just for me, but for those around me too.
</div>
<div>However throughout, I have chosen to remain positive, build resilience, focus on my treatment approach and ultimately make the most of every day this priceless life has to offer.
</div>

<div>This <strong>October</strong> is <strong>Liver Cancer Awareness Month</strong> and I will be <strong>skydiving</strong> (Tandem) to fundraise for two charities close to my heart <strong>AMMF</strong> (<a href="https://www.ammf.org.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.ammf.org.uk</a>) and <strong>ATUVIBI</strong> (<a href="https://www.atuvibi.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.atuvibi.org</a>).

<div>Both charities raise awareness and support important research to identify causes and ways for medical professionals to achieve earlier diagnosis and effective treatments for this serious illness.

<div>En enero de 2025, me diagnosticaron <strong>colangiocarcinoma (CCA)</strong>, un tipo de cáncer de las vías biliares poco común y agresivo. Afecta solo a un pequeño número de personas (<strong>1 o 2 de cada 100 000 diagnósticos de cáncer</strong>). Sin embargo, su impacto cambia la vida y los casos van en aumento.

<div>Desde este diagnóstico inesperado, mi camino ha traído consigo desafíos físicos, emocionales y mentales, no solo para mí, sino también para quienes me rodean.

<div>A pesar de todo, he decidido mantener una actitud positiva, fortalecer mi resiliencia, centrarme en mi tratamiento y, sobre todo, aprovechar al máximo cada día que me ofrece esta vida tan valiosa.

<div>Este <strong>octubre</strong> es el <strong>Mes de la Concienciación sobre el Cáncer de Hígado</strong> y haré <strong>paracaidismo</strong> (en tándem) para recaudar fondos para dos organizaciones benéficas muy importantes para mí: <strong>AMMF</strong> (<a href="https://www.ammf.org.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.ammf.org.uk</a>) y <strong>ATUVIBI</strong> (<a href="https://www.atuvibi.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.atuvibi.org</a>).
