Chloe's Study Abroad to Madrid, Spain 2024

Hi our names are Shannon and Darrell McQuarter and we are asking all those who have been part of our community or who have observed our community service through social media to come together and help us support our daughter Chloe as she embarks on a study abroad to Madrid Spain that will also yield her 4 college course credits from Tulane University. Chloe is our princess who taught herself Spanish and tested in to honors 3 Spanish without ever having taken a Spanish class!!! Her school has recommended that she apply for a study abroad and after a rigorous application process and a multitude of essays, she was accepted into CIEE 2024 Study Abroad in Madrid.

These funds collected through your generous donations will be used to pay for the programming, housing accommodations, food, classes and tours while Chloe is in Spain. Again she will gain a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge of the Spanish Culture as well as learning about her own culture and the African History in Spain. We are grateful for all those who even take the time to read our story to understand the motivation behind this fundraising request.
