Send Chloe and Saadia to Camp Hasc

Thank you for taking a moment of your time to hear our story.
We are a very happy and close family. My husband and I were blessed 6x's with wonderful children. While we never get to pick our children they are hand picked by the creator. We were given the honor and privilege and work of raising 2 children with severe special needs.
Our daughter CHloe who is 18 has Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound. She is unable to speak yet her smiles and eyes speak volumes. She is always dependable to laugh at your joke or give you a hug.
Her life is within her chair and all care for her (bathing, dressing, feeding and everything else )is all on us her parents. She brings so much happiness to everyone around her.
Our son Saadia age 14 was born with no complications and we have asked ourselves a million times "why"? Saadia has severe Autism. He is nonverbal. He is not social or smiley most of the time. He has a rigourous self imposed schedule that he finds safety and comfort in. He is unable to naturally make friends and is very isolated due to this difficult disability.
Im trying to find the right words to tell you why Chloe and Saadia need to attend Camp HAsc
Can you imagine a summer that you don't see the sun except for on the TV or Ipad? Both siblings are unable to go out alone yet Im unable to take them out at the same time. While one is in a heavy wheelchair while the other runs away. This does not allow me to ever take them out alone together.
Can you imagine a life with no friends? Both children attend different special education schools were it is only severely disabled children. They have no friends their own age. Kids usually will stare at them but not attempt to connect with them. This is very isolating and alone for my children.
Then of course I must admit that it is a very helpful relaxed time in out home. No diaper changing every two hours, no bathing, no medications, no doctor appointments, no G tube assistance. This is a wonderful break time that we use to spend extra time with CHloe and Saadia younger siblings.
Camp Hasc is an amazing one time a year opportunity that Chloe and Saadia have to have friends, outdoor activities and just good ol' summer time fun.

Please help us send CHloe and Saadia to Camp Hasc summer 2018
We have been given the shockoing news that Camp Hasc has raised tuition 50%. Since there is not any other programs that could handle their tremendous medical and physical needs we find that we are just stuck with this price increase. We will double our effort to raise $24,000 needed to send our kids to Camp HASC. My job as amother is to put in my effort to raise the money but truly my results will com from the creator.

Thank you for reading my story and wish you all good health and happiness.
