Over The Rainbow

PLEASE PLEASE!!! I know I’m long winded, But,  I BEG OF YOU TO TAKE THE TIME TO READ ENTIRELY!!!!This is my Precious Daughter JOSCELYNE ( My Sunshine ☀️ As I’ve always called her ).  My husband and I have NEVER set one of these up as we believe (especially him), You take care of your own, But, Joscelyne ( my middle daughter) has unfortunately been forced too and generously given up ALOT in her young life so far, that  I feel it’s truly time for her to reap some well deserved rewards. Joscelyne now “21”  ( as many of you know has some mental issues )  These issues and a ton of family issues have robbed her of having a “normal” childhood or experience normal “teenage rights of passage”. Unfortunately she was in the hospital soo much during her high school years she didn’t pass her sophomore year, go to a single school dance, football games, proms or even just having friends. It has been unreal what this kind, loving, giving and many times selfless young adult has lived through and very very hard to watch her tears when she especially didn’t get to Walk the Stage at a High School Graduation ( that was the toughest). She worked very hard homeschooling her self , as she also had to take on a caregiver role to me ( because of some serious surgeries I’ve had over the last 4 years) . She worked hard to achieve her GED, (which she never felt was good enough) and unfortunately College was not an option during the last few years.  This is a person that always puts on a smile in public, compliments everyone she see’s and goes out of her way To help strangers. I’ve watched her on sooo many occasions just make a stranger smile or a baby/ little kid laugh when we’re out and about. If asked to donate at registers at stores, she doesn’t even take a breath ( and most of the time it’s my card she’s putting the donation on . Christmas, well let’s just say EVERY bell ringer gets something put in their bucket. She works tirelessly to help do the housework and take care of me all while deeply in pain missing out on normal passages of a young life  and especially friendships. She volunteered at our church childcare for about 2-3 years and was there with a big smile ( bright and early) on her face at every church Summer Bible Vacation Camps .  It hasn’t been easy for her or the family, but we kept trying to get Joscelyne on her own path to adulthood. She has been working a part time job ( as a daycare teacher/ which she loves) for about 1 year now, while still helping take care of me and the chores. BUT IT’S TIME FOR HER!!! She found a small duplex in Palestine,  where we live and we are desperately trying to get her EVERYTHING to go in it!!! Mark and I are desperately trying to help financially, but we have Soo Many costs associated with starting her adult  life from scratch and we are inundated with medical bills with all I’ve had to go through. Unfortunately  in the last month she spent another 2 weeks in the hospital  ( without pay) to change up some medications. She signs her lease tomorrow and will have to pay for ( of course ) her large down payment, first month’s rent and fees to turn on all utilities and internet etc.. She’s been saving for that, but that pretty much drains her and she still needs furniture, food and some extra deco etc... to make it home ( HER HOME).  Those of you that know first hand her struggles will understand this. But those of you who don’t, well let’s just say I agonized on writing this because she doesn’t want people to think less of her because she has a very difficult mental illness. DO WHAT YOU CAN !! That’s all I ask. She’s WELL OVERDUE for her slice of “normal “ life.  Thank you (Joscelyne’s ☀️ Dream)
