Chive of Duty: Battle for Bryce

In January 2014, the results of the genetic testing finally came in. Bryce was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. He is approximately 1 of only 1000 people in the world to be diagnosed. Most children with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome have moderate to severe delays and often do not develop functional language.  Bryce was a Chive Charities recipient in May 2014 one of the items he received was an iPad with different communication applications.  Recently, Bryce's iPad crashed losing all his applications.  The main application he used was Proloquo2Go which costs $250, this is a symbol-based communication app that will help him communicate better.  Anything raised beyond this will help cover additional apps for his iPad, Bryce's daily needs and get him to the Green Gala this September.
