Chiropractic Service Trip to India

Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family!

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit my page and for supporting my endeavours. As many of you are aware, I am 3 months away from completing my Doctorate program at Life Chiropractic College West, just outside of San Francisco. Three years ago, I decided to move to the United States to study chiropractic after completing a four-year osteopathic Masters degree in London, England. This was not simply to acquire more letters after my name, but more so to further my knowledge and passion for the human body—with particular focus on how to best facilitate its healing.

This coming November, a group of chiropractic doctors and interns will be travelling to New Dehli, India to provide complimentary chiropractic care to impoverished communities. This chiropractic service trip; organized by the Sant Nirankari Mission is dedicated to giving back, loving and serving. This service trip will allow us to render chiropractic care to thousands of people who have had little to any exposure to healthcare. I cannot think of a better way to utilize the acquired skills that I have gained these past seven years in professional healthcare education.

Ethnically I identify as being Indian—which is why this is more than just a service trip. My late grandmother was a former farmer in India, and as a young adult she worked long strenuous hours in the beating heat to help provide for her family. For years she went without receiving any sort of healthcare, due to the lack of access. Four years ago, I lost my grandmother at the age of 65; due to a combination of different illnesses. She led a relatively healthy lifestyle; however, the fact that she did not readily have access to any form of healthcare, in combination with such strenuous manual labor, may have contributed to her early and complicated death. My grandmother is one of millions of Indians, who faced and continue to face such physical hardships, without access to what we deem to be basic healthcare. Currently, the country of India has 1.3 billion people and only twelve full-time chiropractors. I invite you to help me make a difference by supporting me on this journey to provide chiropractic care to a population that is in dire need of it. Please help me to give, to do, to love and to serve out of utter abundance!
