Chiropractic Mission Trip to Dominican Republic

Greetings Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my page and see what I'm
up to. As you may or may not know, I am a fourth-quarter student at
Life University in Marietta, Georgia where I am pursuing to get my Doctorate in Chiropractic. I feel like I have finally found my calling in taking care of people through Chiropractic. I truly can say that this journey that I am currently on through school has impacted me in such a great way and I want to spread this knowledge and understand of the body to the world.

On September 28, 2019, I will take my talents abroad on a 4-day Chiropractic service trip to Santiago, Dominican Republic. A group of 22 other Chiropractic students and myself, will provide chiropractic care for the people of this country that don't have many resources in health care. The group that I will be traveling with including our trip coordinator Dr. Peter Morgan, has made many steps in putting this opportunity together for the people of Santiago and for ourselves.  We have trained and will continue to train physically, mentally and spiritually so we are able to give the people of Santiago the best care possible.

Chiropractic has changed my life in ways I didn't know were possible. I feel like I've really found my calling in life to serve others through the hands and knowledge that God has given me. Since starting on this journey at Life University, I have met many new friends and doctors who have a strong passion for the profession which has inspired me all the more to go after my dreams of becoming a great doctor and helping all that are need. The adjustment techniques that chiropractors perform on patients are powerful, in the sense that they are life changing. the Brian is connected to the spinal cord which is housed inside of your spine. The way the brain communicates with the rest of your body is through the nerves that run all over your body, from head to toe. Those nerves that are all over your body come from the spinal cord. If one of those nerves gets pinched because of a bone or muscle it can and will eventually mess up the communication from the body to the brain, which will have your body lacking in some form or fashion. This is where chiropractors help patients by giving them adjustments to put the body back where it should be and have you live life at optimal health.


Why do I need your help? In order for me to make this trip a reality, it's going to require money for supplies, flights, and hotel stay. My goal to cover my trip is $2,074.
