Chipscene Charity Drive

You know, we have a staggering number of amazing LGBTQ creators within the chiptune community. Some of the modern scene's most talented and influential musicians, developers and organizers identify as LGBTQ, and if they weren't around, then a lot of the amazing stuff that has come out of the chipscene in recent years would have never come to be.

That's why, in honor of Pride Month, a coalition of different communities from all across the chipscene wanted to come together and do something to give back to all the amazing LGBTQ creators who help to make the chiptune community be as special as it is. For the last two weeks of June, our coalition is looking to raise money for the Pride Foundation, a charity which provides scholarships, grants and support to members and organizations within the LGBTQ community.

We're aiming for a goal of $500, which, if we manage to raise, I will personally eat Carolina Reaper (currently the world's hottest chili pepper) live on stream for everyone's entertainment. There's also some reward tiers for higher donations: at $10, you'll be sent a pack of some custom made chipscene stickers, at $20 you'll also be sent a collection of physical chiptune albums put forth by groups from the coalition, at $30 you'll be sent a t-shirt available only to donors, and at $40, you'll receive a free copy of DefleMask Mobile for your iOS or Android device.
