Chi O loves Susan

Hi, we are the Chi Omega's at the University of West Georgia. We are apart of an amazing organization that allows us to reach out and help change lives. Not only do we help raise money for Make-A-Wish, we also get to create an amazing bond with our sisters and help each other out out when we are in need.

One of our sisters is going through an incredibly difficult time. Hannah is an incredible woman. She has a heart of gold and always has a smile on her face. She can light up a room when she walks in, and is truly loved by all the sisters in our chapter. Recently, Hannah's mother has been diagnosed with cancer for the fifth time and like many hostipal stays, those visits add up as well as chemotherapy treatments. Hannah has had to put her school work on hold to be home and help her mother and four other siblings. 
We are setting up this GoFundMe page to help with the costs of bills, food, and other living expenses. Any little helps and will all go directly to her family. We truly appreciate all of your donations.


From Hannah:

"Home is where the heart is, and for our family, the heart of our family has been in emergency rooms, hospitals, and confined to a bed. Our mother has battled colon cancer for a majority of my siblings' and my childhood, and each doctor's visit, chemotherapy and radiation treatment, and surgery became scarier and less predictable. Our mother fought through it all. She was in remission for a while, but now her cancer is back.

Our mother's previous surgeries were very extensive, and they have left a lot of scar tissue, and this makes her most recent tumor inoperable. The tumor has bore into our mother's small intestine, and this makes it very difficult for her to eat or drink anything. The tumor is also pressing on her kidneys, and it impairs her kidneys functionality. Compounded with nutritional issues, her kidneys do not function very well, and they have completely shut down twice. Needless to say, our family has been in and out of the hospital quite frequently. Hospital bills and ambulance rides are beginning to add up, and as our family prepares for our mother to begin another round of chemotherapy treatment.
