Family, Friends, & NASA Colleagues of Chinita Jones....
Upon blessing & in loving support of The Jones Family, this fund is setup in honor of the beloved “Chinita Jones”. God gained a beautiful queen, Chinita Jones on March 8th, 2018 whereas she succumb to lung cancer surrounded by immediate family at Capital Care Hospice. Throughout the past year and a half of Chinita’s life, she endured medical care attention from doctor appointments, intense and urgent therapy sessions, surgeries, intense radiation and chemotherapy treatments, hospitalization, and several critical life threatening medical infections on the immune system and body organs becoming fatally ill to her succumbing.
Chinita Jones was well known, full of life, good spirited, and loved by many from her hand dancing crew and after working over 30 Years+ of service as a contractor at NASA-HQ in the Medical Health Unit-Clinic. She was able to touch the lives of so many with her good spirits, kind heart, and willingness to give a helping hand. We ask that you not focus on the loss of life but instead the life of her great memories.
As a strong supporting family, The Jones Family has endured pain, suffering, and grievance over the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. During past 6 months, Chinita’s was on short-term disability hospitalized intensively whereas her work status was reduced from full-time status (w/benefits) to part-time status (w/o benefits) causing the loss of life insurance coverage under her direct contracting company. The expense of funeral arrangements are an enormous financial burden as the immediate family has covered 70% of funeral cost but in need of the remaining by March 23rd. We are asking extended Family, Friends, & Colleagues for in-kind generous donations toward “Chinita Jones Funeral Fund” to assist with closing funeral cost to ensure a perfect and beautiful remembrance home-going service. No amount is too small, all appreciated. The abundance of compassion support is truly an example of human goodness in its purest form.
