The Show Will Go On!!
During this uncertain time where we are watching arts organizations go dark, Chill Bucket Productions is keeping the curtain open and finding new and exciting ways to bring stories to our audiences.
Back in 2009 when Chill Bucket worked on our first show, A Play In A Day, we didn't think much about our future and where we were headed or what we wanted to become. Ten years later we took a chance and produced our first Valentine's Cabaret and miraculously it worked!
Since then Jeff and Dakota have been working tirelessly to develop a vision for our future and make moves to ensure that Chill Bucket has a purpose and place in the arts community.
We know that theater is an outlet for kids who are just starting to develop their creative tastes and abilities and is equally important to adults who are continuing their creative journey as a passion project or as a full blown career. Theater can educate, inspire, entertain, and inform audiences, enabling a creative outlet that in turn shares hope, culture, history, and fun.
Chill Bucket Productions is a theatrical group dedicated to sharing new stories, advancing timeless theater, and showcasing our history to inform our present, bringing issues and thought provoking theater to new and old audiences alike.
In order to make our long term dreams a reality, we are kicking off a fundraising round to help cover the costs of taking Chill Bucket Productions to the next level. The cost of producing theater during these times has vastly increased and we will continue to bring affordable, engaging stories to our audiences.
As we have begun the process of re-invigorating Chill Bucket, Jeff and Dakota have been amazed at the outpouring of support from friends, families, colleagues, and the artistic community. Our dreams are big and we know that it will take an army of generous patrons, volunteers, and artists to make this happen and we couldn't be more appreciative of the generosity we continue to encounter during this project.
Some of the costs we currently encounter...
$350/year for our website domain & hosting
$150 streaming license for individual productions
$35/month to maintain the ability to stream shows securely from our website
$500+ in licensing fees for individual productions
Staffing fees to pay Artists who work with us
Facility rental fees for in person productions - they WILL be back!
