Children's Home Society in Memory of Stephanie

Tax deductible

Stephanie Rachael Palmieri, 20, of East Hanover, passed away on July 24, 2021.

Stephanie was born on December 04, 2000 and spent the majority of her life in East Hanover, New Jersey. Despite spending her college years in Kingston, Rhode Island, and later Morgantown, West Virginia, she felt a deep sense of attachment to East Hanover, its peoples, and its traditions.

Even as an infant, Stephanie was known for her smile. It was never hard to make her laugh and, as she grew, she came to make others laugh as well. Stephanie had a magnetic personality. People naturally gravitated towards her humor, her dedication, and her perseverance.

If you were lucky enough to know Stephanie, you were lucky enough to witness her kindness. Even if she didn’t express it outwardly, her generosity and thoughtfulness shone through her actions. Stephanie was deeply passionate about her field in a way that’s rare to find. She dedicated her life to working with and educating children. Whether she was studying at West Virginia University or staying home for winter break, she spent much of her time working at local daycare centers, babysitting, and stepping into the classroom. Her enthusiasm and appreciation for life were admirable.

Stephanie is survived by her mother Gayle E. (Bacci) Palmieri, her sister Lauren Palmieri, and her twin Daniel Palmieri. Her memory is celebrated through many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her father Ralph W. Palmieri and her grandparents Samuel and Francis Palmieri.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stephanie’s name to the Children’s Home Society.
