<div>We are a team of <strong>filmmakers</strong> and <strong>community leaders </strong>fundraising for a short film entitled <strong>CHILDREN OF WAR</strong>, inspired by <strong>Film Director, Arnold Chun</strong>'s father's childhood <strong>story of survival</strong> as <strong>an orphan </strong>during the<strong> Korean War</strong>. <strong>CHILREN OF WAR</strong> is not about heroes or battles but about the <strong>personal journey</strong> which is <strong>uniquely told </strong>and<strong> never has been done as a feature film through the Eyes of Four Children </strong>during the <strong>Korean War</strong>. It's a snapshot of their lives as they emotionally and physically <strong>navigate </strong>and <strong>endure a turbulent time</strong>.

<div><strong>CHILDREN OF WAR </strong>shows a deeper <strong>universal theme of rejection, abandonment, and betrayal. </strong>The <strong>Band of Orphans</strong> do not fully grasp the gravity of the <strong>devastation and trauma</strong> happening around them both externally and internally, yet they have a <strong>will to survive</strong> with the <strong>hope</strong> of someday <strong>finding their families.</strong>

<div><strong>CHILDREN OF WAR</strong> highlights the<strong> innocence of children </strong>amidst the<strong> brutalities of war </strong>and serves as a <strong>poignant reminder</strong> of the <strong>humanitarian crisis</strong> that comes with every conflict. It also mirrors <strong>current global events,</strong> portraying the<strong> urgent need</strong> for <strong>compassion, aid, and support </strong>for <strong>displaced children of war around the world. </strong>In conjunction, we want to <strong>remember and honor </strong>the<strong> legacy </strong>of those <strong>who survived the Korean War</strong> and<strong> fought for the freedom to preserve the Korean culture for future generations. </strong>

<div><strong>The Korean War</strong> has been coined <strong>"The Forgotten War"</strong> but we believe through the <strong>visual story telling based on and inspired by this true story </strong>as a <strong>feature film</strong> it will be one that <strong>we will always remember</strong> what <strong>Korea endured to become the most thriving world economy it is today. </strong>

<div>We hope that with being able to<strong> secure the funding that is needed right now</strong>, we can make it in time for the <strong>75th Anniversary of the Korean War in June 2025. </strong>We will be able to<strong> Create a lasting Legacy for all who have been impacted by the Korean War</strong> and<strong> to serve as a channel</strong> to continue to<strong> Educate and Build Bridges between Generations and Cultures. </strong>
