Kids are the greatest treasure on the planet! My name is Jill and, quietly, I have written children's picture books and teen novels for 14+ years. I wrote my 1st in middle school and continued writing ever since. Why did I not publish these or major in literature? Well, I have great parents who knew I would be able to write while being a scientist. It is a longer story than this, but that is the short version. Recently, the world changed! While looking for books for my nieces and nephew, I noticed that the books were all agenda based. While there is a time and place for this, there are children who need a safe haven of imagination, joy, laughter, and peace; their innocent fun. And now, I know it is time for me to publish. Books for children about fun! The silly things they do and say, the adventures they have in their minds, and the make-believe stories they desperately want to explore! I write books about nothing! Yes, nothing. Books on boogers and socks and make-believe! It is difficult to find a literary agent or publisher, and even harder to keep the authenticity of the story. So, I am reaching out to you. Please invest in my small hope C. M. Larkin Books. A pseudonym like Dr. Seuss, who only writes from the perspective of a child's mind with all it's magic and wonder. With this name, I will publish on Kindle and with traditional printing companies to produce the 107 Children's Titles I wrote (and will write more!). And after that, the teen fictional novels (8 of these to print out too) to continue to inspire their creative spirits! I even have a screenplay for a possible "Disney Prince & Princess!" I am here for children to be children again. Free to dream and imagine again! No agendas, no fuss, no mess, just fun! A few cents here and there will help us (you, the children, and myself) give children their world back. And it does not stop there. I intend to donate 50% or more of my sales to hungry children, single mothers, environmental organizations, & children of war.
