On Friday, December 29th, 2017, Leslie Heatherly passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41.
She was the sole parent for her three beautiful daughters - Alyssa (22), Taylor (19), and Vickie (13). While Leslie loved her daughters so very, very much, she had little in the way of assets to leave behind. Alyssa and Taylor are now in college at Brazosport Community College, and Vickie is in middle school at Angleton Jr High.
Many of you have expressed a desire to donate to the kids' education, so I am setting up this GoFundMe. The proceeds raised from this fund raiser will be split evenly among the girls to pay for their tuition, books, and other educational expenses. Because Vickie is still a minor, we will put her share in a 529 savings fund that she can access when she graduates high school.
In addition, I will personally match dollar-for-dollar for any contributions you make, doubling the impact of your generiosity. The family and I would like to thank you in advance for the many calls, texts, and personal visits we have recieved over the last few days. Leslie was very loved. We thank you in advance for any support you can offer, even if just emotional, during this difficult time.
