Children of Cathy Austin

Although many of you know the history behind this unfortunate situation, I wanted to provide a little back story for those who don't. Cathy was a loving mother of 5 of her own children plus her adopted granddaughter and grandson. She put her own life aside to adopt and raise Nevaeh (8) and Michael (4) when their own mother was unable to do so. Michael has known no other "mother" besides Cathy and the same for Nevaeh since she was 3. Cathy was the most caring, loving, selfless person I have ever known and her family meant the world to her.
Unfortunately, Cathy passed away on 3/31 in her sleep, which has left her children scrambling to pick up the pieces. Cathy did not have a life insurance policy and since the death was so unexpected it has left the oldest children with quite a financial burden. Cathy was born and raised in MA where her family still resides, so they not only need to have a service in CA, but need to also have a service in MA where her remains will then be buried. However, one of the largest issues is the reality of having to relocate Nevaeh and Michael to MA, which will be their new permanent residence. This of course comes with costs such as flights, movers/pods, daycare, etc. In the blink of an eye, Cathy's three children (Ronnie, Nicole, and Ashley) have now became parents to Michael, Shaun, and Nevaeh. All three now need to establish new homes to live in to be able to take on the responsibilities and to have the room required for the kids. In the midst of all of this, Ashley is currently relocating from TX to MA, as her husband is gearing up for a deployment. As many can see, there are a lot of moving parts, which makes the financial burden very steep.
I wanted to set up this page as a way for anyone who has asked how they can help to have a way to do so. I am hoping to take some of the stress off of Ronnie, Nicole, and Ashley, as they have not even been able to properly grieve their mothers death due to all the quick decisions they've had to make.
