---ENGLISH--- Français en dessous Build an actual study room for the poorest south-Indian children <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_155524812982374_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_155524812982374_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> Who we are: Vivegam Godfrey is a United Nations approved NGO (consultative status) fighting for equality and child welfare in Tamil Nadu, India. To do so, we prevent child labour, child marriage and any other form of violence Indian youth may be victim of. Here we believe that everyone is equal and do not consider any form of social status. Therefore, we provide free food and medicines, pay scholarships, uniforms and material, offer cloths/gifts and give English lessons as well as homework support to every child in need, disregard the gender, cast, religion or ethnicity. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1555248241411346_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1555248241411346_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> Besides providing daily care, we also intervene or contact the authorities when we get aware of any form of child abuse to secure the child as soon as possible.   We look forward the blossoming of our children by having them through cultural visits, movie watching, sports practicing and game playing... Finally, their health is among our major concerns, so we educate them on hygiene, call a doctor yearly for a full check-up and leave at their disposal a shower.  All these actions are really important as most of them live in huts with no water supply and electricity, and generally do not benefit proper sanitary education. What is our project: We are currently trying to finish the studying facility for them to learn in good conditions. We have yet a shelter that provides shadow which is a good beginning. However, to become an actual study room it requires several features for our student to blossom and study efficiently.   How to do so, and what are the costs? In order for our facility to become suitable for studies, here are the necessary amenities and changes that have to be done: -increase the size, as we lack space to fit all our students, we want to relocate the rabbits and duck/chicken shelters next to the building so that to we can expand it from 55*22 square feet to 55*54 square feet =&gt; 50 000RS = 620   €      <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1551495042301414_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1551495042301414_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />-a solid A-type roof instead of a flat roof, to store rain water, reduce heat and resist conditions (due to coconut falls we experience leakage that prevent us to use this place on rainy days) =&gt; 250 000RS = 3 100   € -a concrete ground, the dirt leads pests to come over and mud to form=&gt; 100 000 RS = 1 240   € <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1551498264752262_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1551498264752262_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />-real walls, doors and windows to isolate the place from sound, animals, pests and weather =&gt; 100 000 RS = 1 240   € -20 large tables to fit each 10 youths to write on, we have already been given dozens of chairs for them but they currently still have to take notes on their laps =&gt; 60 000 RS = 740 € (note that because of forest mismanagement, wood is particularly expensive) <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1551496592102852_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1551496592102852_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />-14 ceiling fans to withstand the hard heat of Indian summers as well as 14 Lights with wiring and switches to keep on study in the darkness =&gt; 50 000RS = 620 € Total = 610 000 RS= 7 560€ These costs include the purchase, delivery and the setting of these amenities, considering that we handle ourselves the maximum of works to reduce the price. Take into account that these prices are really competitive as we have been seriously looking for the best offers and that the activity of our organisation lead companies to be price friendly toward us.   How to help us? Vivegam Godfrey est une ONG reconnue par l'ONU (statut de consultant) qui se bat pour l'égalité et le bien être infantile  dans le Tamil Nadu, en Inde. Ainsi, nous empêchons le travail infantile, le marriage infantile ainsi que toute autre forme de violences que les plus jeunes peuvent être amenés à subir  en intervenant physiquement ou en contactant les autorités dans les cas les plus délicats. Ici, nous affirmons que tout individu est égal en droit et en valeur, nous ne prenons pas en considération quelque forme de statut social qui puisse exister. Ainsi, nous distribuons repas et médicaments,  assurons la scolarité  en payant frais de scolarités, uniforme et matériel scolaire, assurons des leçons d'anglais et du soutien pour les devoirs à tout enfant en détresse peu importe son sexe, sa caste, sa religion ou son ethnie. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_155524826233368_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_155524826233368_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> Nous poursuivons aussi la recherche du bonheur et de l'épanouissement des enfants en les invitant à des visites culturelles, diffusant des films, les faisant jouer à des jeux et pratiquer des sports. Enfin, leur santé figurant parmi nos préoccupations majeures,  nous les éduquons sur l'hygiène, appelons annuellement un docteur pour un check up général, et laissons à leurs dispositions des douches. Toutes ses actions sont très importantes car la plupart d'entre eux vivent dans des huttes sans raccord à l'eau courante ou à l'électricité,  et ne bénéficient généralement pas d'éducation sanitaire suffisante. Quel est notre projet? Nous cherchons actuellement à finir la construction du centre d'accueil et d'étude. Nous disposons déjà d'un abris offrant de l'ombre ce qui est un bon début, cependant pour pouvoir accueillir plus d'enfants et dans des conditions plus propices à l'apprentissage et à l'épanouissement de nos protégés nous devons procéder à certains travaux. Que faire et quels sont les coûts?


-Agrandir le centre: nous devons disposer d'un plus grand bâtiment pour pouvoir recevoir tous les enfants nécessiteux. Il nous faudra donc déplacer les abris à poules et à lapins qui bordent le bâtiment pour pouvoir ainsi l'élargir. Relocaliser ces abris et initier l'agrandissement de 160 mètres carrés nous coûtera 620€ <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1555297390802080_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1555297390802080_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> -Un solide toit en "A" pour remplacer notre actuel toit plat, ce qui nous permettra de récupérer plus efficacement l'eau de pluie, de réduire la chaleur en été, et de résister aux conditions locales (à cause de chutes de noix de coco, des infiltrations nous empêchent d'utiliser le lieux lors de pluies intenses). Le prix avoisine les 3100 €. -Un sol en béton, actuellement la terre amène la présence d'insecte et induit la formation de boue lors de pluies intenses. Le coût est de 1240 € <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1555297437892571_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1555297437892571_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> -De véritables portes, murs et fenêtres pour isoler le lieu du son, de la météo et des animaux et insectes, cela coûtera environ 1240 € -20 grandes tables pour permettre chacune a au moins 10 enfants d'écrire dessus. On nous a déjà donné des dizaines de chaises mais pour l'instant nos protégés doivent encore écrire à même leurs cuisses. Cela coûtera 740 € (à noter que le bois est particulièrement cher en Inde à cause de gestions désastreuses des zones boisées) <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/37314478_1555297643736989_r.jpeg" alt="37314478_1555297643736989_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> -14 ventilateurs de plafond, pour permettre à nos étudiants de supporter l'étouffante chaleur de l'été Sud-Indien (plus de 40° C) et 14 lampes pour permettre de continuer à étudier la nuit tombée . Le coût est de 620 € en incluant le câblage, les conduites et les interrupteurs. Total=7560 €  Ces prix incluent l'achat, la livraison et l'installation / construction, en prenant en compte que nous réalisons le maximum de travaux nous même par soucis d'économie. Il est à noter que nous avons ici des prix particulièrement faibles car nous avons longuement recherché les entreprises les plus compétitives, et que les professionnels prennent en compte le fond de notre activité pour réaliser leurs devis, et nous adressent des offres avantageuses. Comment nous aider? Bien entendue, pour parvenir à atteindre notre objectif et bâtir notre centre, nous comptons sur vous pour participer. Même de petits montants comme 5 ou 10 €  nous rapprocheront de notre objectif et nous permettront peu à peu de réaliser notre projet, n'ayes donc pas peur de participer avec de petits dons! Cependant, si vous ne pouvez pas vous permettre de nous apporter un soutien financier, pas d'inquiétudes!
