Did you know, for every one euro donated to research only 1 cent of this goes to childhood health conditions including cancer. Therefore, the donations we receive will be split equally among these wonderful children's charities. Our team is very appreciative of the support we get from these charities. A little bit about us; We are the Cancer bio-Engineering research group based in the RCSI on Stephens green, Dublin. Our main focus is a childhood cancer, called Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a cancer of undeveloped nerves. Children diagnosed with high risk Neuroblastoma do not have a good prognosis, with a survival rate of less than 20%. Our team is currently involved in the developing more advanced ways to study new drugs to aid children to fight this disease. Last year we managed to raise an amazing 1250 euro taking part in tin the VHI mini marathon challenge. We are eager to surpass that target this year. All donations no matter how small are appreciated <3
