Child custody to remove from abuse

I'm raising money to pay for a lawyer in hopes to receive custody of my 2 children (5 and 2). They spend most of their time with their mother and her boyfriend in a home of 4 adults and 3 children. Their mother and her boyfriend do not work. I recently reported the boyfriend for child abuse after leaving heavy bruising on my 5 year old. There is also suspected drug abuse in the household and my kids do not have their own room or beds. Their plan is to turn a balcony into a bedroom which I do not feel safe about. My 5 year old is constantly late or absent for school. (About 50 percent of the time she has them.) I work a full time job and can provide a better home and safer environment for them with their own room and beds. I need to raise money for the retainer fee for a lawyer and consultation fees as I have already spent hundreds lookong for the right person to represent me.
