Child Custody Legal Fund

On 3/21/18 I came home from work to find my wife and two week old son missing. Now I’ve come to find that my wife possibly took my son to Maryland. Then yesterday, 3/23/18, I was served with a false and erroneous restraining order and I’m finding myself in a huge fight for my parental rights. My wife took all our money. I’m left with nothing to pay rent, utilities, or even food and to top it off I need to hire an attorney to contest everything and it’s going to be $2500 for a retainer and total costs are upwards of $3500-$4000. Then there’s my rent and bills. My wife took all of our savings. All of it. I work two jobs and we barely scrape by as it is.  Then she started turning utilities off so I had to scramble to get them back on and in a manner that she wouldn’t be able to sabotage.  I’m so heartbroken. My 14 year old son is heartbroken. I can’t eat, can’t sleep, and can barely function. I just want my son back. His mom is suffering from tremendous postpartum depression and I’m so worried about them. It’s torture not even knowing where my little Oliver is or if he’s safe. I have 30 days to contest this case and contest it I will. I’m prepared to fight but I just don’t have the resources to fight. So, that’s why I’m here asking from the bottom of my heart for any help I can get.  I’m beside myself, sick and am lost. If there’s anything you can do it will so greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
