As many of you know, Chief Jim Master has been battling several illnesses which have limited his mobility. Chief Master is in need of several home improvements to his condominium before he returns from the rehabilitation facility. Improvements will include a more accessible bathroom; the bathroom tub will be converted to a shower, and an ADA toilet, sink, and accessories will be installed.
Several members of the BCC Rescue Squad have been working closely with Jim to improve his quality of life when he returns home. Jim has granted them authority to engage with a general contractor to have the improvements completed. Chief Master will hopefully be returning home in 3 weeks and we would like to have these improvements completed upon his return.
Chief Master served his community for over 40 years. Assisting the Chief with this project is a small token of our appreciation for his many years of dedication to the community and the members of the fire and rescue service. We ask that you consider helping the Chief in his time of need.
