We’d like you to meet Darien (Senior), Nicole (Senior) and Izabella (Sophmore). These Chico High Cheerleaders were chosen as All Americans by the USA Staff (United Spirit Association) after trying out in front of the entire camp this July! For those who don't know what an All American is, "All American is one of the highest awards an individual can achieve in cheerleading. Each summer at UCA, NCA, and USA camps, thousands of cheerleaders try out for the All American title, but only 10% are chosen!" THEY WERE CHOSEN!!
They’ve been invited to London to represent our United States along with other All Americans from all over the country to perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade AND perform at the USA Nationals in Anaheim this Feb!!! Our Chico High Family could not be more proud of them! They will leave Dec 26 and return Jan 2, 2018. They’ll have a full week of education and tours before the parade... AND lots of rehearsals.
We are so grateful for those of you who follow and cheer on our student-athletes! We created this page for our family, friends and community who wish to support the girls but find it easier to give with a credit card, live in another town, live across the country and those across an ocean. Even though you are too far to participate in the traditional fundraisers throughout the year you can do this one. We have started fundraising any and all ways we can think of. They’re selling bracelets, See’s candy, car washes, you name it they’re doing it, but this is a way for their friends and family to donate directly to them.
Any small donation helps get them closer to this once in lifetime goal and to help the dream actually come true is greatly appreciated. But your love, encouragement, prayers for health and safety this season are valued as well!
Unfortunately, it was such short notice we are struggling to provide all funds needed to send them. First payment for their trip is due Sept 9th and ALL funds need to be paid in full by November 1, 2017!! With your help, they can achieve this goal and enjoy this amazing opportunity! Not only to represent their country, but to represent their country through cheerleading would be amazing!
