Chicago Teen Mentors' School Supply Drive

My peers and I have had the opportunity to receive a phenomenal education in Chicago public high schools. Though we come from four different Chicago public schools (CPS), and varying areas of Chicago, we saw the common need for educational programs in our low-income, underserved communities. 80% of CPS students come from low-income households. We know that all students have potential, and we wanted to make an impact on students through free tutoring (done by CPS high schoolers), so we created Chicago Teen Mentors (chicagoteenmentors.org). 

In preparation for the upcoming school year,  Chicago Teen Mentors is hosting a back-to-school supply drive. Our goal is to provide 200 students in need with a durable school bag and adequate school supplies, helping those who are in financial need. We want students to start the school year off right.

Please consider donating to our back-to-school supply drive by August 14, so we can receive and package materials by our drive date. All donations are greatly appreciated.
