On May 11, this year's Chicago River Day in Blue Island will focus on planting and beautification at our waterfall park along the mighty Cal Sag - but all those plants we'll need aren't free!
Blue Island super volunteer Val Kehoe has drawn up the landscape design - with plans in place for the watering and maintenance of these perennial gardens that will keep these 2 large beds healthy and clean. Anything you can give, no matter how little, will go a long way.
