Chiari Malformation Warrior

This is my son Wyatt. He is 5yrs old. Wyatt is a sweet, intelligent, and unique little boy. He has been diagnosed with Epilepsy (seizures)and Chiari Malformation (when the skull is to small for the brain). He had a decompression surgery (where they removed a piece of his skull to give room for his brain) two years ago. He started having seizures in February of 2018 and  several EEG test later doctors decided to do an MRI and  discovered not only does he have epilepsy but he also has Chiari and that there is fluid on his spinal cord.The first decompression surgery went very well in the fact that it gave his brain room but unfortunately the fluid is still on his spinal cord and it has increased. This is actually called syringomyelia (a fluid cyst on the spinal cord) He had another MRI on September 24th and that’s when we got news that he will need another decompression surgery (making this his second decompression surgery) immediately to remove the fluid from his spinal cord. This surgery involves a duraplasty( which involves opening the dura which is the tissue that covers and protects the brain and spinal cord) His surgery is scheduled for October 12th. This surgery isn’t optional and it’s very invasive and comes with a lot of risk.  It will require 2-4 days in the hospital and at least a month to recover. As his mother I am worried about him undergoing another surgery. I worry about complications, infection, and his recovery. I worry about how this affects our family financially. I am a single mother of not just Wyatt, but his four other sibling. I am the sole provider and care taker of all 5 of my children. I don’t have any savings, but I do have a full time job unfortunately due to these circumstances I will be unable to work during his surgery and recovery. I just want to be able to be with my son and have one less worry so I am asking if you could please help our family in this time of need, I would be forever grateful. The money donated will go to all our monthly bills such as rent, utilities, food, toiletries.  Please keep my little boy in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
