Chia P. Chang Funeral/Medical Costs

On Sunday, February 25, 2018, my parents were involved in a head-on collision with a wrong-way driver in Florida. My father was able to swerve their van just enough so that my mom's side was not crushed. She survived the crash with several bumps and bruises.

Unfortunately, my dad was in the hospital fighting for his life for 2 1/2 weeks after the crash. His fight ended on Wednesday, March 14, surrounded by his loved ones. 

He leaves behind my strong, but heartbroken mom, 8 sons and daughters, and dozens of grandchildren, including a new one due in June, whom he adored equally. 

He has joined his beloved brother in-law (my Uncle Va Shoua), his parents, and his baby granddaughter, Harmony, in Heaven. And though he must be thrilled to see them all again, we are left bereft here on Earth.

With a 2-day memorial service and burial on the 3rd day, my mom is struggling to cover all the costs of this heartbreaking event. We seek to relieve our mom of these financial burdens so she may continue to grieve and find much-needed solace and healing.
