Chey's teaching in Botswana Fund

Hi everyone!
So I have recently been accepted into UCF's Abroad program and this summer I am blessed with the opportunity to travel to Botswana, Africa where I will spend 4 weeks learning about the culture and working with students and teachers in local classrooms.
Anyone that knows me knows that my goal for after graduation is to spend a couple of years teaching abroad and impacting students around the world. This is the first step towards reaching my goal and I couldn't be more excited!
During my first week I will get to engage in academic and cultural activities at the University of Botswana and surrounding areas. During the second and third weeks I will participate in a homestay while engaging in service-learning activities at one of Botswana’s Remote Area Dweller Schools. My final week will be spent engaging in the local culture.
This experience will provide me with a unique opportunity to experience, first-hand, the challenges of providing education to all children within Botswana, regardless of their mother tongue, location, socioeconomic class, or ethnicity.
The total cost for the trip will come to around $4,000. I have been busy saving up, however, any assistance would be greatly appreciated! I can't begin to explain what this opportunity means to me and I thrilled to get the chance to share my journey and experiences with everyone!
