Chester's Treatment

Thanks for checking this out!  I am Cordell Conley, but more importantly, the handsome cat in the picture is my girlfriend's cat, Chester.  Chester is my girlfriend's three year old therapy cat and has been her best friend from the very beginning.  At the beginning of October, Chester was playing and having fun like he always does.  As October progressed, Chester started sneezing and coughing and losing that energy he always had.  At the end of October, it has been revealed that Chester has nasal lymphoma that is rapidly spreading to his brain.  

He received radiation treatment on 11/12/2020 and will now undergo chemo therapy to treat the tumor.  My Girlfriend and I are both fulltime students and I am a high school history teacher.  We are both looking for extra work to help our little buddy.  We are no strangers to hard work, but we also do not want to get piled under debt, so we are asking for donations of any amount to help get Chester the treatment he deserves.  The radiation was $8000 and the chemo will be ongoing.  While undergoing chemo, Chester has a feeding tube that requires specific food and medicine to help with nausea and digestion.  All of this together has led me to estimate his costs at $15,000.  This is a rapidly developing situation and I will update the goal and Chester's status as we receive more information.  As of today, 11/12, Chester has been responding well to the radiation and has been playing and cuddling with us all day.

Chester has gone above and beyond in his duties as a therapy cat and has guided my girlfriend through many storms.  Now that he is in trouble, we are doing everything we can to help, including asking strangers like you to give us a hand.  I hope you find it in your heart to donate or, if you decide not to donate, to share Chester's story with your friends and family.
