Triathlon - May 2022 for Frenchy and Lewis Kirby

Hi, my name is Keiron, a lot of people know me through dj’ing around Farnworth since I was 15 years old. A lot of others know me from other places like football etc. over the years I have been quite an active person but in the last few years I haven’t done much and become really unfit. So I have decided I am competing in the Cheshire Triathlon on 22nd May 2022. I have taken part in this event previously but only did the bike section. This time i am going for the Full Event!!! 

500m Swim - 21k Bike Ride - 5k Run

I have decided that I want to do this event for 2 important causes. They are connected to 2 local people related to 2 separate situations. They are as follows…

My First Charity is… ‘PUSH THROUGH FOR LEW’

This charity was set up in memory of a very much loved young lad called Lewis Kirby. Lewis sadly taken his own life due to mental health. Lewis was a massive fitness fanatic and was a very very popular personal trainer alongside being a very big joker with a large personality that everyone misses. 

I have chosen this charity as I have previously  suffered in deep moments where I have felt alone and lost. I could of easily made the wrong decision to end my life. However I feel this charity has already and will carry on to make awareness that there is help out there if you just speak to someone! There are many people willing to listen so don’t be scared to do so. We are all far from perfect and we all have problems! Don’t do this alone! Speak up now!

My 2nd Charity is.. to raise money with the French Family!

As a lot of people know Gaz French was diagnosed in April 2021 with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma with mets to the liver which is causing him lots of problems with his jaundice. The doctors gave him weeks to live in June and told us there was no treatment for him as he’s terminal so just palliative care. Since then Gaz has had lots of treatment and his Family have received a lot of support through didn’t events. However they still need more!! So therefore I want to complete this event to help in this difficult situation!!

If you donate then this will really help me with my event but not only that it with help with my chosen charities!!
