Che's Top Surgery

Che is my 19 year old trans son. It's been a long journey here, with so many hoops and hurdles. I am at a loss for words to write, if you stumbled upon this fundraiser, you must know the struggle of gender-affirming surgery and its necessity.

Yes, another "please help with medical needs fundraiser" because, well... you know. Despite promises of a state where gender-affirming surgery can't be denied, insurance will find a way to make you pay all of it yourself, trust us. It's over $8k; we are hoping for help for the surgeon's fee of $6k, which is also the out-of-network max we are hoping we can submit after the fact but not likely, so we may need to extend this. Anything helps, even a dollar or just sharing. Payment must be made before the surgery appointment in December, or it would be canceled, and it's already another year to two waiting list, again. Thank you.
