Cheryl Miller Harvey Relief

Hi everyone! As some of you have seen or heard my moms house is currently flooded by Hurricane Harvey aftermath. The Core of Engineers decided to release the overflowing water in Addicks Reservior to save the city, and by doing so they destroyed my childhood home. With no warning she had to leave her home of 23 years that started taking on water very quickly. She immediately grabbed my brother, our two dogs and left with no time to gather anything else - including the cars that were already submerged. They're saying the water from the reservior will sit in the house for weeks, if not a month. My heart breaks for my sweet mom who constantly provided for my three brothers and I as a single parent and has now lost everything. My mom doesn't have flood insurance so we set up this Go Fund Me in secret and would like to surprise her with a little bit to help her get back on her feet. We were fortunate enough to never go without as children thanks to her hard work so we'd appreciate your help to return the favor to her!
