Cherry's Knee Surgery

Hello all! 

This is my sweet 4 month old puppy, Cherry. Cherry started off as a foster from the Humane Society, and quickly turned into a part of our family. She loves everything about live, including running at the park, going swimming, and playing with her puppy siblings. 

Unfortunately, a tragic accident happened to Cherry. On December 18th, Cherry's collar snapped and Cherry ran off. When my fiancé found her a minute later, she shrieked and began limping. Thinking that she has just twisted her leg when she ran off, we gave her some time to rest and try to recover. Today, December 28, 2020, I took Cherry into the vet for an X-Ray. The results came back saying that she has a broken knee. Her knee is very swollen and will not heal without surgery or amputation. With her being so young, we are wanting to try and do our best to go with surgery, instead of amputation, as she is so young and has her whole life ahead of her.
