Cherishing the Life of Shane Bordelon
Donation protected
On March 21st 2024, my closest friend, Shane, tragically suffered a heart attack and passed away at the age of 33, leaving behind his wife, Lisa, and 4 children. Despite Shane's known health issues, his death was very sudden and unexpected. It's still hard to believe this has happened.
A little about Shane:
As many may know, he wasn't always the easiest to love, and yet somehow he made it impossible not to love him. Sure, maybe he'd shout something offensive while you're eating at a fancy restaurant, or tell a dirty joke to your parents at your family's Christmas party, but that was Shane, uncompromised, and I love him all the more for it. "Societal pressures and social norms? Nah, I'm good." It's an attitude I think we could all use a little more of sometimes. He was a very real, very caring, very hilarious friend. I couldn't be more thankful for the time and friendship we had all these years.
A few words from Lisa:
"You were my best friend, my soulmate, my rock (and you still are). You brightened up my day even with just a little text to let me know you were thinking of me. You brought life into the house. I don't know what to do without you. I am gonna miss you so much. I just hope you know I love you always and forever and one day we will be together again."
Shane was a loving husband, father, best friend and so much more. Please help us raise money to support his family in this time of need. The money raised will go directly to his wife, Lisa. It will cover any necessary costs associated with his passing and will help take the unimaginable weight of this tragedy off of her shoulders in this sad time.
