Cherie "Nana" Displacement Fund

On Monday, August 28th at 1am, my wife April's grandmother, Cherie "Nana", was moved from her first floor apartment at The Conservatory to the forth floor due to the flooding from hurricane Harvey in Houston.

There was 15 inches of water on the ground level.

Needless to say all of her furniture was left soaking in flood waters for several days basically ruining her couch, love seat, chairs, bed, etc.

While she has renters insurance it does not cover flooding.

So we are reaching out to you and asking for a donation to help Nana replace her furniture that Harvey ruined. She will need a couch, lounging chair, coffee table, desk, dining room table and 4 chairs, bed, box spring, matress, night stands, dresser, and other items that may have been damaged by the flooding that we don't know about yet.

Our goal is $5,000 and anything over that goal will help Nana’s friends who also had their possessions ruined as well.

According to The Conservatory first floor residents should be able to move back in within 4 to 6 weeks.

Your donations are greatly appreciated and will make a lovely little old lady so very happy.

We will withdrawl the fund in about 2 weeks and present her with a check and broadcast it on Facebook Live.

If you donate, just above the "continue" button, please leave either your mailing address or email. Nana would love to send you a thank you note.

Thank you for your support!
