Cheri's Cancer Treatment Continues

Donation protected
Can you spare the cost of a cup of coffee?

Some of you may know that my best friend, Cheri Veritch, was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.  She had a double mastectomy, with 3 more surgeries following that.  Earlier this year, her cancer metastasized to her pelvis, spine, ribs, lungs, liver and three tumors in her brain.  Cheri has been unable to work at her spa due to the surgeries and the multiple tumors in her spine.

Most of her original staff at Spa E’Vie have left to follow their dreams, which is a wonderful thing but has created a financial strain for the spa.  Even so, Cheri is excited about the future… through her cancer pilgrimage, more joy, more blessings and more miracles have been revealed to her as her eyes have opened to her true gift – teaching others how to experience profound  joy and blessings and miracles, no matter what their current circumstances are.  As Cheri plans the new future for the spa, it is to create a wellness retreat to do just that.  But the new staff will not be coming on until the end of October, and she has virtually no income for the last couple of months, with bills pilling up.

Cheri is also undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.  Her radiation treatments are up in Portland, and she and her caregiver (her step daughter who is also a CNA2 is helping her without pay) sometimes have to spend the night in a hotel because the treatments run late into the evening.  This is also causing an additional financial burden to the family.

I am asking everyone, including people that don’t know Cheri, to sacrifice the cost of one cup of coffee to help her continue to shine her light, because the world needs more light.  Well wishes and love are greatly appreciated, but just $5 can make a true difference in someone’s life. One drop of water added to another drop of water to another drop of water creates an ocean.

So, I ask you… can you spare the cost of a $5 cup of coffee?

(Cheri doesn't want more than a $5 donation... to show every little bit counts)
