Cherae's Tuition Scholarship

We are back again! Although the prom aspect of the scholarship did not come to fruition due to COVID-19, we were still able to be a blessing during such tough times. I am proud to announce that last year we were able to raise enough funds to give 3 tuition scholarships to 3 deserving young women totaling $2,500.
This year our goal is $3,000!
As early as I can remember, strong, educated women have played a pivotal role in my development into the woman I am today. I’ve learned that there are so many young women who aren’t fortunate enough to have the same type of influences in their lives. Throughout high school and college, I served as a mentor to young women, ultimately transforming my outlook through those relationships and experiences. Today, mentoring young women has evolved from an extracurricular activity to a personal and professional mission of mine. As I establish a platform, I hope to reach back to mentor others, just as I was, and play a life changing role in the success of the queens to come. As a 25-year-old African-American woman who graduated top of my class and has now started my career, I feel it is my duty to give back to the young women in my community.
This is why I started my own tuition scholarship. Help me, help young women.
