Elgin Winter Storm of 2021!

Chemn Café Friends and Family - We hope you are all doing well, staying warm, and safe.  We haven't been back to the shop since Saturday when we closed, and to be honest I'm getting quite concerned on the well-being and condition of water, pipes, equipment, inventory, and such (- as you can imagine!) After spending the day in my no-electricity home (on and off) and seeing everyone's posts of concern and despair, I have come up with a plan.   I NEED YOUR HELP if it's going to work, but I believe it will.  To say it's been a challenge since last year is an understatement, but I'm optimistic, so here goes…
I'll be back at the shop as soon as I'm able tomorrow, Tuesday *hopefully*.  After checking on the status of inventory, we will be putting together boxes for delivery (or pickup), beginning as early as Wednesday.

Please share the list below, or for yourself - choose a number of items that one could use.  We'll pack them as close to a $25 value as possible, and try to include most of what checked.  Give us the name, number, & address of the family in need (or yourself) so we can get it out (or they can pick up).   If items can be shipped to loved ones out of town, we can do that too!

This GoFundMe is to help us get the items cost covered, to get some sales in the shop, and to help cover the costs of getting more inventory in asap.   If you could 'sponsor' a box donated by giving $20-$30 that would be wonderful, (or maybe pass this on so others can if you are not able to, we understand!)
