Chelsea's Scholarship - St Ann's College

The St Ann's Collegians Association Inc. is working with St Ann's College, and the various communities Chelsea Masclet was involved with throughout her life to raise funds for a scholarship in Chelsea's memory. The scholarship will be awarded to a student at St Ann's College who shows many of the qualities of Chelsea Masclet and have her legacy live on within the college community for years to come.

Chelsea was known as a happy, bubbly, and friendly person, whilst also being a determined force to be reckoned with. She was a superstar on the sporting field, she was impressive in any sport she got her hands on, while also excelling academically, and socially. She grew up playing with the Broken Hill Basketball Association, continuing her love for sports with the Broken Hill Central Football Club. Chelsea always got the most out of her sporting abilities, she was a State Basketball Captain and played for North Adelaide in the SANFLW.  In 2018 she moved into St Ann's College in North Adelaide where she would be involved in almost every sport she could at the college level. In 2019 she led the college to their first inter-college sports win in 26 years as one of two Sports Secretaries, where she was instrumental on & off the field. In 2020 through the pandemic and battles with personal illness, Chelsea was President of the student-ran College Club. 

Academically Chelsea was incredibly driven and her results showed it, she had a strong transcript of distinction and high distinction's, and in 2021 will receive a Bachelor of Exercise Science posthumously.

Chelsea was loved by everyone who knew her, and will continue to be loved and honoured despite sadly passing away in December of 2020.

We hope to raise funds to keep her memory strong at St Ann's College and help future students in her honour.
