Little Black Dress Initiative Campaign - CL

Want to join me in making a difference? I am participating in The Junior League of Topeka's Little Black Dress Initiative. An annual campaign to raise awareness about the challenges that face 1 in 6 Topekans -- 16% of who are children. As an Advocate, I am joining other women in our community in wearing one black dress, the same black dress, for five days in a row. The purpose is to illustrate how those affected by poverty typically have fewer opportunities and choices -- not only in terms of clothing, but in education, in relationships and in health.
