Help Chef Gilly Fight Cancer!

Our beloved Chef Gilly has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer.  After being admitted into the hospital for pneumonia, the doctors discovered that he had cancerous tissue in his lungs.  He was scheduled to start chemo treatments but had to be hospitalized for over a month due to a serious lung infection that needed to be cleared first.  Now that the doctors have removed a rib and cleared the infection, he has weekly chemotherapy treatments plus daily medications which last for 10 days, followed by a 7 day rest period.  The process has been very hard as he is still recovering from the giant hole in his back left from surgery.  If he gets medical clearance from his doctor on August 10th, he will be flying back to Kauai soon after to pack up his belongings before facing his new medical and financial challenge.  His doctors want him to fly to California to undergo stem cell treatment at Stanford Medical and  he will possibly have to stay there for a few months.
     Please help in any way that you can.  Gilly has always given his heart and soul to St. Catherine School.  We could always depend on him to help with any fundraisers we wanted to do and he would spend countless hours creating his own fundraisers to benefit the teachers and students.  
     Chef Gilly was always there for us so let's be there for him!  Please kokua to help him with his shipping costs to send his belongings to Molokai and with the growing medical costs that he is facing.  Any donation would help!  Let's show our support and keep him in our prayers!
