<div>On December 23rd, Chef JR had an emergency triple bypass surgery. The surgery was successful and he is now home with his wife Chiho, his children and his mother. The outlook looks good but he has a long and uncertain road to recovery.

<div>For those of you who know Chef JR (or Jamby to his family), you know that his entire life is his family and Tatang, the restaurant and catering business he owns with his wife, Chiho. He's dedicated every bit of himself to sharing Filipino culture and traditions through Tatang, often volunteering much of his time and services to the local FilAm community.

<div>His happiest moments are sharing food he's made with his family and friends all around one table.

<div>As you can imagine, the recovery process has left them in the tough position to reprioritize their lives and business.
