Chef denied Heath insurance coverage for surgery

I was in a moped accident with a dump truck. I missed work because of my really banged up ankle and later found I had a broken wrist. In that time I switched jobs and had to find health insurance on my own. My current health insurance has denied my claim and I have spent over 15k to cover these expenses. The real down side is I am limited in what work I can do, so the money I am making simply isn't enough to pay for the medical bills and my normal bills. I can't wait to get back in the kitchen but in the 12-15 weeks I need to heal I simply can't do the work required to be in a kitchen. I am looking to survive till I can get back in the kitchen.
