Chaz The Champion

Chaz Deal was rushed to UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento on February 5, 2018 where immediate surgery was performed and a large mass was removed from his brain.  The tumor was approximately the size of a tennis ball.  The posterior fossa tumor was diagnosed as Medullo Blastoma brain cancer.   The medical team at UC Hospital informed Chaz's Mother Tiffany Deal that he  will need immediate treatment and therapy for at least a year.  Chaz will need 42 days of chemotherapy and radiation under anesthiology.  He will then  receive 7 months of intense chemotherapy and will be hospitalized during that time. 

 Chaz and his mother ( single mom)Tiffany Deal had their life turned upside down.  Chaz's loving Mother has been by his side during this time sleeping in chairs, waiting room or floor. She did whatever it took to stay with her son.  Tiffany insists in taking on the 24 hour a day care for Chaz during next year while he is receiving treatment and therapy. This will consist of taking on and being trained on some nursing duties such as giving shots. They will need to stay within the vicinity of UC Hospital for at least the next year while he receives outpatient or hospital care and probably afterwards for future medical.

During this very difficult time the family needs immediate help to alleviate the stress and pressures of financial burden.The insurance has denied claims, prescriptions, etc. Medical bills are building and so are the worries. They need our immediate financial help during this worrisome time to pay for medical and personal necessities.  They will also need funds for planning short/long term care, medical expenses, transportation issues (Chaz won't be able to take public transportation due to immunity issues), housing problems and a lot of other things that will come up in the near future.
