Chaas Firth Medical Bills

Donation protected
Chaas Firth is a bright 18 year old from our small town of Whitney, Texas.  Chaas  was being raised by his mother and step father for much of his childhood.  In 2010 his mother passed away unexpectedly. He was then living with his step dad and siblings.   Chaas admits he was at some points a typical teenage boy, but has always worked hard, stayed in school, and did everything so that he could graduate from High School and make a life for himself.

Over the the last several yearsChaas has lived with many families  to have a "roof over his head".  Thank goodness for all those who have supported him.  He still has a relationship with his siblings, step dad and dad, but has been on his own to support himself.  He has worked hard and all that he has to his name is what he has earned through his hard work...while staying in school and participating in sports.

Many kids facing these circumstances and the loss of his mom would have given up, but not Chaas. He has continued to go to school and be active.  He has continued to work to support himself.  He has managed to live on his own paying his own rent this last year, buy a vehicle to get him back and forth to school and work, maintained good grades and participate in sports.

Chaas started his senior year of High School in August with plans to graduate in 2018.  In addition, Chaas decided to once again play football...as he done in previous years.

Unfortunately, Chaas was injured in a football game several weeks ago and is going to have to undergo surgery on his knee. He has a torn ACL and meniscus.  Not only can he no longer play sports, but he is unable to work, cannot drive his standard truck  and now has the concern of medical bills related to this required surgery. Although Chaas does have some form of insurance, as we all know...NO insurance will come close to paying all of the out-of-pocket expenses.

I have set up this GO Fund Me account to help Chaas with these bills. All donations will go directly to pay the medical providers and will be managed by me.

Please help me out by donating to this account to help this young man. He should be commended for staying in school when he was faced with huge odds...it would be so easy to give up, BUT that is not Chaas...he just keeps looking ahead ahead at the possibilities.  Lets  help him finish and graduate with his Class of 2018!!

I am asking for donations to help with Chaas' medical bills so that he can not only graduate, but be able to know how impressed we all are at his perseverance to go against the odds.
