Chase Otteson’s Medical Relief Fund



























On Saturday December 2nd my sweet 12 year old nephew, Chase Otteson, his brother Hunter 13, and their friend Nate, also 12 years old, were all injured in a tragic fire accident. Chase and his friend Nate were burned badly. Chase is burned over 40% of his body. As of right now he is heavily sedated and in ICU and is fighting for his life. His road to recovery is going to be very very long. He is expected to be in the burn unit once out of ICU for well over a month and will need numerous surgeries. Right now his blood pressure is stable, his temperature has came down a bit, and his white blood count is not showing any signs of infection. But we all know that this can change in an instance with burn victims. These next few days will be the toughest as we really do not know the extent of his injuries as of yet. Please pray for my sweet nephew. Chase enjoys playing sports, hunting, camping, mining with his dad, and overall is a very active little boy. He is a very kind hearted, thoughtful, and loving. He always has a smile on his face and something thoughtful and funny to say. He is the middle child of three boys. He is so loved by all of his family. We are all praying that he pulls through and makes a strong recovery. This fund will help assist in the massive amounts of medical bills that will be coming in as well as future medical surgeries and therapy he will need and any financial obligations that come about while Trenton is out of work.
